How do i undo this Miche Headset

not had a good look yet but it feels a bit stiff , but i cant see any flats to help undo and re tighten any idea before i spend hours trawling . Its a 1" threaded type

I have the same headset. Unfortunately I didn't install it. The frame builder didn't want me scratching his paint! I always assumed there was something under the black plastic bit that says Miche?

It has been an excellent headet.

Spanner flats are underneath the plastic ring. Does it prise off vertically?
