How do I remove this wheel axle?

Hi, I‘m trying to remove this Oval Concept wheel axle to inspect the bearings. Any ideas? Both sides are the same and the rear wheel is similar.

Is the axle threaded? I would think the cover/dustshield will pop off to reveal grub screws or flats to allow the nuts to be wound off?

You may find that an allen key fit nicely into the hole at each side allowing you to undo the caps
