How do I lubricate my brake/shifter levers?

Can anyone help me please.
Pictures would be appreciated if possible.

I had a stiff lever which turned out to be caused by a sticky cable.

Squirt a load of light spray lube such as GT85 into them. Make sure you clean any excess off the lever bits before you grab a handful of brakes!

You may also need to strip and clean the cable and outers - or replace them depending upon condition.
