Well done  I would bet on you doing a 50 before long .

40's my next goal, try and do 5 or 10 extra for each go

That's the way to do it. I did a 30 mile commute back to Shoreham from Gatwick on Sunday morning on my Langster SS and was well pleased. I hadn't ridden that far in my life even as a kid! I was full of trepidation all through my night shift but, armed with all the tools and spare tubes etc I just went for it. I got home realising that I could so easily have gone a fair bit further. it fair made my day.

I could have quite easily have done another 10 as I felt fine, I didn't know exactly how many I'd done as I turned the milage off so I couldn't see what I'd done, but its a nice feeling of achievement to know you riden more than you have ever done :-)

Well done mate. That's some awful good progress you've made. Don't forget to rest up for a day if it starts to hurt, else you'll be forced to tail off the increase.

I also think the hardest bit is out of the way for a while. For me, the jump from 10 miles through 20 to 30 was a pain, as it was double the distance, then another 50% on top. Once you're bagging 50 miles, 60 is only a tiny bit more. That keeps on until you're hitting twice that, then it starts to get trickier again.

You're going great, and the approach is sound. Keep it up!
