how big should my bike be ???

i 've got a mtb and want a road bike of sorts, not sure whether to get a racing bike or a road bike with normal handlebars as mtb, as i've got a bit of a belly, being over 40,,,,,, and i'm 6' 2 so what size frame should i go for?????/

56 -58cm - I'm over 40, I'm the same height, I weigh in at 102kg...Go and sit on some; get drops - you'll enjoy the variety of hand positions. You'll tinker with your new bike and get it just right...in time.
Wide handlebars just feel sooooo strange!

i'm 6ft and i have a 58 frame.

I would have thought 58cm to 60cm would fit you well....I am 5' 10 1/2 and ride a 55cm....

If you an try before you buy that always helps or try and get some advice from a quality bike shop.
