Just watched it ... and guessing I'm not a super responder and I think my brain cuts in to save myself a bit early (=I'm lazy). Definitely fascinating stuff, especially when my Mum and several relatives have developed type 2 diabetes later in life - so I need to keep at the exercise to help my insulin reaction.
Interesting program. I'm not sure such little activity will make you fitter, but it certainly seems minimum requirements to counteract fatty based ingestion.
More useful was to find out some of us wont respond to hard effort, pointing out once again genetics are the key.
It was when he pulled a muscle at the beginning when he was going to race the athlete, then goes hell for leather on the exercise bike. Looks like a great way to get an injury if you haven't warmed up/stretched.
