Dimension Data seem to be getting mentioned a lot. Their corporate colour is green, owned by Nippon Telephone and Telegraph. If they have the financial muscle, this could mean M. Bernardeau goes shopping next season with a view to division one in 2017.

I'm no expert on team sponsorship, but I'll call dibs on energy firms - they're my day job. If Direct Energie are a TPI style company, their focus will be on maximum exposure in their home markets, which is something the inrng article picks up on. The downside is that, if Direct Energie are like the TPIs I have to deal with, they'll have a very short fuse. Unless the team delivers quick-sharp with screen time, any sponsorship deal will be dropped very quickly.

Good work by Bernadeau keeping the team alive, but I doubt it'll be a long-term relationship. Just remember to zip up those maillot!
