Holdsworth’s a plenty

I can’t believe how many Holdsworth bikes are for sale on Facebook marketplace some cheap eg one in Clacton was advertised for £50. Sadly I sold mine a few years ago to make room for a couple of Moultons and Gazelle (Dutch bike).

Aye, Holdsworths and Holdsworthy era Claud Butlers are two a penny.

Because they were fairly pricy in their day the uninformed population at large tend to think they're worth a fortune now, but they're not - simply too many about and too small a market. The upside is they are superb riding machines and even minters can be had for sensible money.
