Yes, went up it a couple of years or so ago en-route from Witham to Southminster. Nearly killed me! It was July but I'm sure there was still snow at the top.

First bit to the pub is fine, then quite steep to the first hairpin, goes very steep to next hairpin, then bad to next brow and sort of steep but not too bad after that, more of a steep drag than a wall.
