Hilarious 'abuse'

So I was riding down the road, country road, basically pitch black with the lights on max, spot a ped walking his dog & drop to low. As I passed he shouted "you don't need lights that bright. You can see you a mile off!"...

A few years ago I was locking up the office on a November evening when a hunched old codger came slowly pedalling past, 3 speed Sturmey Archer and a foot of slack in the chain.

"Oi!" shouts a pedestrian on the other side of the road, "Weer's tha leets, thee?" [Where are your cycle lights, my good fellow?]

Old codger didn't even look up. "Go fook thissen". [Thank you so much for pointing that out.]

Locked my bike up in town (shopping centre), and the bike next to mine had left is lights attached and on. So I did my good turn and switched them off.... I came back to my bike less than 15 mins later (it was a dash and grab shopping trip), to discover that the front light was now missing off that person's bike. So I may of at least saved their back light which was on the seat stay so not so obvious in the dark when switched off.
