Hibernation

For to long our Nation has suffered through cold dark winters, enough is enough. It doesn't have to be like this, all we have to do is..... HIBERNATE.
So say I

I hibernate every night but only until about 0500 hours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On a more serious note how can you hibernate if you have to get up every 4 hours to use the bathroom!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wish I could hibernate just now.

Very dark here, just 3 hours of daylight and that will go within the next 3 weeks. It's getting more difficult to get up in the morning.

The point of hibernation is that everything slows down. Body temperature drops, respiration slows, so less energy is consumed, and produciton of the waste products of respiration (e.g. piss) is reduced.

I'll bet bears are dying for a piss when they wake up, but I think they can go a bit more than four hours.
