Hi everyone!

I'm excited to be part of this community! I used to jog a lot back home, which gave me a chance to explore my neighborhood and discover hidden gems. I recently relocated to a bike-friendly country and got my first bicycle last year. I've been loving the freedom it brings—exploring at a faster pace and with more efficiency. I don't need speed, just a practical bike that I can use for commuting and grocery shopping. My next goal is to find a well built vintage bike that can accommodate two child seats for my kids. Looking forward to connecting with you all!

Just curious where you have moved to? Your avatar says you are in Singapore, is that bike-friendly and if so why?

Thanks for the warm welcome. Singapore is quite bike-friendly, especially for city bikes like Brompton. The interconnected park connectors, dedicated cycling lanes, and well-maintained roads make it great for urban cycling. It's an enjoyable place for city biking, but as you said, it may not be ideal for mountain biking enthusiasts due to the lack of hills and off-road trails. Do you enjoy biking around the city often?
