Hi All,
Just thought i'd finally post, been coming to this site for ages!
I've been mountain biking for about 2 years (got a GT I-drive ),but about 3 months ago bought a Giant SCR 4 to get fitter and get out on a bike a bit more, some good roads (and Hills) where i live in the vale of glamorgan, anyway yesterday i was out on a loop i do on the weekends about 35 miles,it was'nt very good weather, quite windy ,i was 12 miles into my ride on the coast road in ogmore ,leaning into the wind struggling, when i realised i had this big grin on me mush  and there it was ,i've been converted,my mountain bike mates are not happy ;) cause i announced last night that i'm thinking of selling my GT to get 2 more road bikes ( winter and a better racer) .I just love it, now thinking of joining a club!
Sorry if i've rambled, just its changed my life !
Cheers !

Great name:laugh: Welcome to the darkside, good choice of starter bike too, I have a SCR4 although its only original part is the frame, as I have upgraded everything else on it!;)

Keep the i Drive, just buy another road bike for the summer...Plenty of sales of 2008 bikes, time to bag a bargain!

Can't offer any bike buying advice, but planning for getting two sounds very sensible.

Hi and Welcome, I fell to the dark side from mtb,ing also I would suggest keeping the mtb as well if you can. The weather is never too crap to mtb it can be for a road trip though.
