Hey! Thanks chaps. I'd like to say it's nice to be back, but frankly I'd rather stlll be gipsying around my bike. Real life pah.

Just seen you posting on another thread and thought it had been a while. Good to see you back

I also thought it had been a while since I had seen graham56, but I think that's just me not paying attention

What you been up to ? Welcome fella !!

I left home and work and blew a bunch of savings bumming around on the bike with a tent for a while. Back now, booo.

Oh, how I wish I could do that sometimes! Apart from the tent bit

Oh the tent purgatory is worthwhile just for the absolute unparalleled bliss that a small hot bath in a guest house affords after a few months of campsite showers. Ecstasy.

Thanks Aperitif. Actually one thing touring for an extended period did for me was me make realise I'm not at all 'sett' in my ways. It's kind of nice to know that if everything turns to poo and the credit crunch bites me viciously in the knackers I'd actually be quite happy to cycle off with my tent and live on the road until the world sorted itself out a bit.
It was great, just for a short time, to own no keys at all, except for the bike lock ones of course.
