This is a nice little early season event to blow the cobwebs away in the new year, and in part of the country that doesn't have too many sportives to choose from throughout the year (although this seems to be changing fast) with several new events popping up last year alone.

Details on the British Cycling website and limited entries so get in quick - it was sold out last year

well, about half the places have sold in the last few weeks so you should be okay until January I'd guess

unfortunately didn't make that - family commitments got in the way
and this weekend is the Hethersett ride, so should be back with IV the week after that hopefully

cancelled due to 'bad weather' forecast - what a joke!
Looks like once one event organiser decides to cancel due to bad weather they all jump on the bandwagon, next mid summer events will be cancelled because it's too hot
