Hello, lm in need of some help regarding a change of chain cassette and wheels. I have a Boardman with 105 10 speed 25-12 with a kmc chain.
Decided to change the chain and cassette for another kmc chain and 105 10 speed 25-11. Also got some new aksium wheels. The wheels come with a spacer for 10 speed that goes on before the cassette, but my old aksium didn't have this. The new cassette also has one that goes behind, the same as the old cassette. I put all the new stuff on but the chain doesn't sit correct on the smallest sprocket and slips. I've adjusted the derailleur but it's still doing it. I tried taking off the spacer that came with the cassette but it's still going it. Could it be chain link number? I counted the same amount out before splitting it (105 links)... But as I have a smaller last sprocket on the new cassette, does that mean chain has to be less links?... Anyone have any ideas??? Thanks in advance
