How much do you want to spend? What are the road surfaces like? How good are you at puncture repair?

There really is no need to pay £80 a set.
For my 35 mile round commute on the pot holed glass strewn streets of SE London I have Duranao London Plus's @ £30 a pair.
For leisure road riding of which I do 1000's of miles in crappy country lanes I have Vittoria Rubino's @ £28 a pair.

Both last for many of thousands of miles with hardly a puncture between them? Why? Because I look after them.
I check the tyres for debris pre and post ride, every ride. It's a pain, but you soon get used to it and it's saved a lot of punctures.
Dig out all the crap that sticking to the tyres as it will work it's way in.

Look after your tyres and they will look after you.
Ignore them and you will pay for it in punctures.

Ive got the same bike as the OP and the stock tyres have been fine so far and ive ridden on some pretty crappy roads. When they wear out i will be going for some Conti GP 4000's until then im sticking with the stocks as i waste enough money as it is lol

I'm on Conti GP4000S and no complaints, get some but wear yours out first! the BikeDiscount place in Germany has excellent prices on Continental tyres I guess this is due to them been made there...

Conti GPs for me too.For rougher stuff,Shwalbe Marathons.I change my tyres as soon as I get a bike, just me I guess.

Same here, straight on with GP4000S's, tyres are a personal thing but I love these and can't be bothered experimenting with OEM tyres they go back on when I sell it along with the wheels!
