Hi guys,

I have an old bike with Campag Super Record cranks/dérailleurs, its 7 speed downtube shifters, (non indexed), the current cassette is a Dura-Ace item, and as far as i can make out some Shimano parts/Campag parts are compatible when it comes to old seven speed set ups. I need a new chain and looking at Shimano chains so wanted to check if i'll have any issues fitting this one;

Or do I need to take anything else into account? I have the original Campagnolo sprockets and jockey wheels so want to make sure the new chain is compatible.

Also can someone tell me if jockey wheels listed Camagnolo 8/9/10 speed will be OK for 7 speed?

Forget Shimano chains, they're pants.

Get a KMC chain, you'll thank me for it some day.

One quick question on KMC's, from what i remember Shimano's come pre-lubed if you like and you're not supposed to add lube straight away when new, is this the same for KMC's or do they need lubricating from the get go?
