Help setting up Tacx turbo trainer

Hi all......hoping someone can help.
My Sirius gel trainer arrived today.
The instructions are not too clear.
I cannot set up the trainer to fit either my MTB or my Road bike.
I don't know what I am doing wrong.

I used the MTB adaptor plates for the MTB and the hybrid wheel adaptor plates for the road bike.
Neither work.
I have the T1435 Sirius gel model.
Any advise appreciated.
I hope I haven't got a dud one.

Hiya,

Yep I got it working with the MTB on it.
I want to get it working with the road bike on it now.
So might have a fiddle with it tonight.
It's only one of 2 possibilities now.

Road bike doesn't need any adaptor plates.
