Help new set of trigger gears.

Got these last weekend. Usual bodge job on my part I was fitting the front derailleur cable and manage to fray it. I have only just started using hybrids and it looks complicated any ideas where to start to change cables looks complicated. I have changed road bikes new hybrids - Help.

It's dead easy. Ensure that smallest sprocket/ring is selected. Look at the side of the shifter pod where the levers are and you will see a little plastic cross-head bung - remove it . Push the cable through and the barrel end will pop out of that hole. Remove and replace - simples
