Help needed with determining year of bike

I have this Raleigh Deore bike with a serial number R57-44294. Can anyone tell me what year it would be? Thx

Late 90 summat I'd say. Do you have any more pictures?

No reference on the net for Raleigh Deore and I've not heard of the model. I'm sure you aware Deore is a brand of Shimano as the bike is probably so equipped. I suspect someone has put Deore transfer on it.
Andy's guestimate sounds about right.
