I'm removing my Shimano Tiagra cranks for the first time ever, and have removed the left one, but I can't get the right one to remove
. As far as I can tell from this diagram, I simply need to pull the hollow axle attached to the right crank out, without needing to remove the crank or its chain rings. Do I need to give it some persuasion, with a rubber mallet or similar? Here's a photo of what it currently looks like:
