I think that you are better off going to a local bike shop,you may be short in height but still average inside leg ,but have a shorter torseau or visa versa,so a small adults bike with a shortened stem fitted correctly may be the ticket,the saddle can go forward as well as up,and at a good fit they will advice you on then posture to ride etc
It would be hard for any one to advise you on a firm bike with out seeing your body build,but shorten the stem to much the Bike would come unstable when steering,again the lbs would give you a clear picture
