Help! Need advice...

Hi there.

New to this site. Just looking for any opinions/suggestions regarding the following. Myself and two friends are looking to go on a cycling break/holiday this summer. Our initial plan is to cycle from London (where we all live) and head off somewhere with the thought of getting the train back home.
I was just wondering if any of you could suggest any decent routes/destinations to go by keeping in mind we'll probably be looking to go for around 3-4 days while camping in the evenings. Any help would be really appreciated. Cheers.

Train from london to southampton then tour New forest and Isle of Wight loads of camp sites too.

What about down to Dover, ferry across and stop over in a pension the 3-days in northern or western France and get the train back?
That's what I would do personally
