Hello I've just been to evans and spent £100 on a lezyne xl front light which gives 450lm and a micro lezyne rear light that gives 70lm. Just looked on eBay and there a company called Cree that do a t6 light that gives out 1800lm for £20 is this right? Do any of you guys have this light? Would u recommend me take thaw lights back and get the cree. Please help

As long as I breathe, I attack.
The xml t6 are rated about 1000 lumen max for a single led light unit , most of the ebay claims are just sellers exaggerating a bit lot to try and get a sale.
They are still a very good light for the money but do have a wide beam pattern that some people think is an issue when using on the road, i have a magic shine which is very similar and i cant say i have had a problem with it .

The Crees are about 600 lumen in real life. They over quote. The leyzene lights are in a different quality bracket.

I have hope vision 1s for commuting as they are exceptionally reliable. But I also have a number of T6 lights for off road mainly. The t6 are a bit overkill for the road and they dazzle badly unless you point them at the floor.

Looks good - I will take a punt on it. How does it attach/fasten to the front of the T6 and is it secure.
Mine was as simple as screwing the main cap off. An O ring sits between it and the reflector unit,its recessed to keep the lens in place.

* I have a magicshine type system
