Help!!! Hydraulic Lever has pulled out of housing.

Hi all,

I'm in a bit of a pickle, just come home and my commuting bike fell against my event bike and caught the brake lever, wrenching it out of hydraulic housing.

Now I'm a bit naff with bike mechanics, and rely heavily on my LBS to do the repairs, but hoping that this can be fixed by yours truly, with a bit of mechanical nouse from you lovely folk.
This would mean I can ride to work tomorrow, and save my slowly breaking bank balance.

I've given a pic as below to show the lever.
There is a full washer, then there's what I believe is called a C-ring beneath the washer which looking inside the other lever, they should both be on the inside of the housing.
Is this an easy fix / can it be fixed?

Thank you,

Yep looks like the washer and circlip that holds the master cyclinder piston has been pulled out. You could fix it if you have a good pair of circlip pliers. I suspect it might be easiest to replace if the master was drained of fluid though as you'll be pushing the actuating piston in against the fluid pressure and the return spring as well as trying to relocate the retaining gubbins.
