A decent bike, though I couldn't guess how much it'll go for in the Netherlands. Do you know the size...better still, can you try before you buy?

Mirage groupset - assuming that the wheels are the same that gives a kit worth £150 tops.

So £300 for the frame - which was a low end Aluminium attempt to break into a mass market.

If you Google you will find at at the end of production the bikes (complete) were selling for around $1,000 which strikes me a being low end stuff with a big ticket purely because of the name.

Ad says 61cm. Being a Dutch site there are a lot of 60+ frames for sale!

It's a bit of an odd site - it's like ebay with absolutely no rules whatsoever. Having said that, I've bought four bikes using it.

Yes it is a 61 cm, so it s not a good buy for a low end production? He says that it has a carbon vork. But still 5 yrs old 525 is rather expensive i think. WHat do you think of the price Delftse post?

I think you're paying a bit of a premium for the name. If I were buying a Colnago, I'd either want a piece of vintage steel or a brand-new piece of plastic! For aluminium, I'd look for a cheaper brand - they're probably all made in the same factory in any event. I'd look out for a newer Giant or Cube or something like that. On the other hand, if it fits, makes you happy and you can afford it then why not??!
