Personally I usually wear a helmet - but I'm absolutely fundamentally against any form of compulsion.

I suggest all interest CCers visit and vote, I "hope" the current lead of the compulsionist will be overturned.

Problem is that the non compulsion vote is split by whether it should be mandatory for children or not...

True...so the more people that get on and vote the better.

My personal view on children helmets (and a lot of other things) is that it should parent's decision & responsibility, not that of the state..... but don't get me started.

Well I just tried to vote again ... whilst it let me ... it didn't adjust the totals so it isn't that someone is repeatedly voting. Genuinely surprised by the % voting for compulsion as even a significant number of helmet wearers are against compulsion (myself included).
