Hi All

Just joined so be gentle.

I have a specialized allez sport which i have had for about two years. I have increased my milage and last week did my first 100 mile ride. I'm looking for an upgrade up to £1200 ( it's my 50th in Oct so hopeing I might get a bit towards it ) Not into racing ( to old to start ) but wouldn't mind having a go at a sportive next year. I'm going to the cycle show on Sunday so will be looking around then but would be interested in thoughts before hand.

I'd look at Audax bikes, you might just afford a CrMo (Triple butted) one at that budget.

You'll find lots to drool over at the show. I won't make any specific suggestions coz the bikes I like aren't necessarily the ones you would. I think the mention above of an audax style bike is a good one though.

Hi, it might be an idea to look at last years models, there are some bargains out there. the models don't really change a lot, it's mostly the colour.
