Hi, I've been cycling for all my adult life allthough I do too much watching cycling cycling on TV and not enough actual cycling these days.

I've maily joined to see if I can get any local advice or tips as myself and my partner are going to watch the finish of stage 7 ToB.

Tip 1: stay off the course as much as possible and expect the finishing straight to be closed pretty long before the racers are expected to arrive, as well as random bits of the town to be closed for parking the race organiser mobile offices, team buses and so on.

Probably not a problem at the finish, but en route don't stand on the side of the road that all the motorbike outriders will be overtaking the bikes. You get a nice view of motorbikes...
