Members often post details of rides they're doing here - https://www.cyclechat.net/forums/cyclechat-and-recreational-rides.47/ - you might be able to find one in your area that you can join in with, maybe meet a few new cyclists like yourself.
Lots of general chat in the CC cafe too which should help you get to know everyone.
What sort of cycling do you do? MTB, road, casual pootles ... ?
