No help on the bike I'm afraid but hello & welcome aboard. There are some very knowledgeable bike people on here but pics or a name/details of the bike will be needed for any specific info outside of an opinion on the maker generally.

Yes a pic is a good idea, load one onto your computer, or go straight from the phone if you've got a smart one, then you just click "upload a file" when you create the new thread. Sorry if that's teaching my grandmother to suck eggs, it took me a while to work it out myself!

Rory O'Brien used to have a cycle shop near Romford Market..... I bought some Christophe Toe Clips there in the early 1980's!
I also bought some very nice smoked cod's roe from the fishmonger's in the Quadrant Arcade on the same trip.
