Hi
My first post. Either I am getting older and grumpier or the UK roads are getting worse. So I have gone from bike to bike to bike over the years mainly to accommodate ever bigger wheels. In the last year I have gone from a lovely 2015 Genesis Equilibrium disc to a 2016 Croix De Fer, thinking this was the nearest thing I could get to a Dawes Galaxy without the weight, as my memory of my D G from 25 years ago was that it could glide over crap paths.
My cunning plan to pull back on the weight of the CDF was to get some light wheels. So I got some 142mm Cero AR 30 Disc wheels off a bloke called Dave, but I now find they no longer sell the 135 QR adapters / end caps on the Cycle Division (Cero) website. As the wheels use Cero’s own hubs, it feels like the only option is to guesstimate based on comparing what I have to something like the novatec website and hope they fit. But this feels like an expensive and chancy option. Any ideas welcomed?
