I've just joined this forum and as you can see I've made a bit of a balls-up, as you can see from my name (missing a "v").Also my avatar is upside down. Don't know what happened there.

I used to cycle a lot.Daily into work and Audaxes and club runs at the weekend. Then I got married and had kids and cycling went into sharp decline. I never stopped cycling, but now want to re-invigorate my enthusiasm. I see lots of other people my age out on the road who are new to cycling and I realise I should also be out there.

What I will not be doing is buying a new bike to join in with the new enthusiasm for cycling. My custom built audax bike will be fine for grinding my way up mountains and going flat out along the valleys - supplemented by my rigid mountain bike for the cart tracks and old tram roads we have around here.

Welcome ^_^

No fear, a few months in our company you'll change your mind about another bike

Welcome to the forums. You cant possibly be thinking of riding a bike that weighs more than a bag of sugar and costs less than a small house? Its just not done.^_^

I have done a few audaxes that started at Bynea Cycle Club. Keep us posted how you get on.
