Hello from France

Hi All,

I've been cycling a long time, playing as a kid, commuting to school, cycletouring and commuting to work in three different countries. Done the occasionnel cyclosportif too. These days my cycling is mainly lunchtime keep fit thrashes from home, or on a business trip somewhere with my Dahon folding bike.
All of my bicycles are "improved" with better gears, homebuilt wheels, "better" ergonomics, etc, but I've always got questions so I have finally decided to join a forum to share my advice when it might be useful, and to ask others for there's too.
I'm also a WarmShowers host, but despite being in the SW of France, Mrs B and I get very few visitors !.

I'm looking forward to some interesting and useful exchanges with fellow cyclists, travellers and tinkerers !

With pleasure - I’m 20km west of Montauban / 50km north of Toulouse.
