Hello, I require some advice.

I am about to purchase the Barracuda Team road bike (700cc) from Amazon in conjunction with a black dog magnetic turbo trainer; upon reading the small print of the trainer, I noted it said it will not work with bolt through hubs.

Could anyone tell me whether the bike has a bolt through hub? I have tried to work it out from the pictures but I am not sure what I should be looking for. This.is my first bike purchase in 22 years. Here is a link to the bike.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00...?qid=1381166682&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SX110_SY165_QL70

I hope someone with more experience than me can advise.

Thank you in advance for your help

Kind regards

Ben

From the look of it has bolt through hubs, and from the price its very rare to get quick release wheels. I know there are a bit more but carreas in Halfords have quick release wheels,

sorry everyone for swearing(Halfords) lol

Barnet,
Couldn't see the picture properly, what it means is that the trainer will only work on quick release wheels. Most bikes now have quick release wheels instead of the axles and wheel nuts of old. I would check the bike you are going to buy that it has them, as at that price it may well not

Thank you Pumpadave and Paulus for your replies. You have made things a lot simpler. I need a bike with quick release back wheels. I will start looking. Ben
