Its a local council ride, so info will be poor! Heres a bit more........
The classic ride of the year, the Hell of the North continues to prove extremely popular, attracting close to 200 cyclists in 2007. Unfortunately severe weather prevented the official ride taking place in 2008. A picturesque route, the ride goes through some of the most spectacular scenery in the region, but is a tough test and only for experienced cyclists. Check in and lunch stop is in Kirkby Stephen.
Entry fees: in advance £4.50 with t shirt, £2.50 standard entry. On the day £6.00 with t shirt, £2.50 standard entry. Start: Dolphin Centre, register between 8.30am - 9.30am.
This is a challenging ride for experienced cyclists. Under 16's must be accompanied by an adult.
A group from Darlington CC will be leaving at 8:30am for a 'steady' ride, a faster group will be leaving at 9:00am.
.....hope that all helps.
