Im looking to keep my bike looking as good as I can, so to prevent scratches Im looking at getting some copter tape.

Seems expensive for what it is, anyone have recommendations?

I use it on my Bianchi and have no discernible scratches on the underside of the bike (BB, stays and d/tube). However, would I have any scratches if I didn't use the tape, I've no idea. My reasoning was it's cheap (ish), almost invisible, weighs nothing, and may offer a level of protection.

I used it on my son's bike which he scratched within 72 hours of getting. It seems to have kept the bike from a host of scratches that it would have got locked up in the school bike shed with other kids just dumping their bike/scooter on his on occasions. Probably works best on a gloss finish rather than a matt one.
