Not the usual thread you get about heart rates I guess.
Went out Saturday on a club ride, finally I am now able to track my HR with a monitor (Garmin 800), I rode pretty slow in my opinion compared to some rides that I have done in the past. But when it came to some of the hills to climb, I put the effort in on some to push myself, questionably I may have put max effort on some.
Having reviewed the data from the ride, it actually appears I've gone over my apparent Max Heart rate on one occasion and 1bpm off quite a few times... albeit for a short period of time. Having used all of the variations of calculators online, they actually make my worries worse.
I'm 25, weigh 95kgs, and resting HR is 60bpm. Highest indicated MHR online is 195bpm.
Below is a data screenshot from Saturday's ride.
Any advice? Guess the obvious one is to slow down?
