Headset!

I'm upgrading forks to ones with 120mm travel with remote lockout and they are 1.5 tapered steerer tube. Currently I'm running a 1 1/8th steering tube. Is it possible to fit a tapered headset to my frame or not to run the 1.5 steerer tube?

You need that or one similar to move the bottom headset race outside the forks. But, there's always a but. It might not fit your headtube (needs to be zero stack) and it adds to the stack height. What are you adding a 120 fork to. Was it already 120 or 100? If it was a 100 and you add a 120 fork plus that, you're going to be slackening your steering quite a bit. You may not like how the bike feels or handles. Article here.
