Hayes MX2 disc brake pads.

I have noticed that there seem to be three basic kinds of replacement pad for these brakes including sintered kevlar and organic.

I am going to use the bike mainly as a commuter (14.5 miles each way 4 or 5 times a week on road).

Could someone advise me which type of pad would be the most suitable?

Organic pads are the 'standard' pad and will work in all conditions and on any rotor. Sintered pads (or metallic) are much harder but work better in extreme conditons and last longer. Just check that the rotor can take them as not all can.
