My bad, Ortlieb large office bag and a useful box for carrying worky stuff. I put it away while my knee was too bad for the 20kg commute ute it goes comfortably onto.

I thought it was in the loft but unfortunately the shed had it and the waterproof membrane is not looking too healthy.

Any advice on best products that could home fix the rubberised layer rather than Fabsilling it into submission or contacting Ortlieb?

A wallet tends to work well, apply liberally at your lbs and the bag will come up like new.

This is a crazy, spur of the moment thought: what about using bituminous paint, like the kind used to seal shed roofs?

I did think summat similar but with hindsight its not the best picture I've posted, the manky bit shown is the inside surface of the rolltop and may not open again with flexible resinous stuff.
