Hi,

I'm wondering I bought an incompatible tyre? I bought this: https://www.wolfcycles.co.uk/product/vittoria-ridearmor-ii-tlr-full-black-g2-0/.

I know I can use a tubeless compatible tyre with clincher wheels, which is what I was thinking when I bought it. I've realised though after the fact that this is TSS (HOOKLESS) compatible.

The information I can find online is about hookless wheel and clincher tyres. I can't find anything certain about a clincher wheel and a hookless compatible tyre.

It's fitted to my tyre and and went on tight. I just want to be certain it's safe. Thanks.

Well, I think I have some of my answer. It just took me coming on 15 minutes to take the tyre off. Most of that, just to get one half off, but several minutes to remove the tyre entirely from the wheel. I perhaps don't need to to worry about it blowing off as I ride, but about if I ever do get a puncture!

I'm running Vittoria Corsa's which are hookless compatible but they fit onto my regular rims no problem at all, I doubt you'll have any issues.

If your wheels are tubeless compatible I'd highly recommend running them that way, it'll eliminate a lot of the risk of punctures, particularly with those tyres and will increase the comfort of them substantially as you'll be able to run lower pressures.
