Have halfords upped there game?

was in there today getting my bike sorted and they done great job since i kinda in with them even t cut all my marks on bike from a old d lock incident involving welder for free and loada other stuff, great job. anyways they showed me look at there future order book, including wheels over a grand, carbon fire cranksets, forks, frames, loada top of the range equipment worth 10x what i've ever seen in shop. have they always done this or is it taking a turn for the better?

Some Halfords are great ,others less great. It seems to be pot luck where you go and who does the work for you.

On the spares side I tried several places for a bottom bracket for my bike and none had the right one, tried all the online sellers couldnt get it . Finally sourced it in Halfords about a mile from the house.Will try them first in future but only to supply parts.
