Have Campag discontinued the old style Veloce bottom brackets?

Hi guys, need to fit a new bb for my double campag veloce crankset. The type of bb i've used in the past has been the campag veloce 111mm british threaded kind... but try as I might I can't find any available on the internet.

Does anyone know if campag have stopped making the 111mm version?

Would the linked campy centaur or Token ones work as replacements? If so I'm wondering if I should stockpile a few!

centaur
Token

Thanks,

No definitive advice but I faced a similar problem few years ago and then there was sudden availability of the Veloce (and Mirage, which looked the same to me) units. IIRC, the Veloce and below BBs are not the same as the Centaur and above units but It's worth looking at the Campag site and seeing if they still have the old .pdf technical spec sheets.

I had to put a centaur BB on my mirage chain set, although it is 115mm on a triple, don't know if that helps. It was recommended by Ribble and a someone on here I think.

So, my memory was wrong! I've now found the old Campaq instruction sheet and it shows that the construction of the Record, Chorus and Centaur BBs as being the same i.e. they have dust caps, O rings etc and that the Veloce, Mirage and SCS group are all similar sealed units. However when it comes to sizes, the Record and Chorus are 102 and 111 (for double and triple), whereas the Centaur and below units are all 111 and 115.5 (for double and triple), so it looks like the Centaur BB will be fine.
