Im looking for opinions on if anyone has had experience of a Dave Hinde Race Series Frame, im seriously looking to buy one as im not far from the shop and the frames are super light and waiting for a new set of Campag Zondas to fit on to and with 105 5800 groupset.

Can't comment on the frame quality, but it might be worth a quick google on "Dave Hinde customer service" before parting with any cash.......

I have read customer service and mostly mail order, not so bothered about that as its only 15 mins away and will give some clues later as there fixing a broken spoke and tester will be on how well the wheel is trued, and im not bothered for finishing as i can update that later, its just more for performance reliability and feel etc.

I was even thinking on buying the frame and forks and build it myself, unless someone can mention other frames that are really light.

I just did the google, and i suggest you bring a luggage scale with you when you buy the frame. http://www.bikeradar.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=12586473 yeah, it's 8 years ago, but bike weighed more than a kilo from quoted. That would explain why it is the lightest frame you can find.

Do you really want a frame by someone with such appalling customer service? You'd have to buy it as if it was without a warranty, as I can't imagine they'd honour one.

Notice that he seems to have a raft of excellent reviews in the last week...maybe customer service has suddenly improved?

Doesn't seem inexpensive for a metal frame, only available in a 56cm.

That certainly seems to be the opinions of most, I'm just very 'surprised' that he's had soooo many good reviews recently.
