Hello - I'm afraid I bought a Voodoo Marassa 18" (I'm 5'8") from Halfords rather hastily. Regrettably, my preferred independent retailer from whom I've purchased several bikes in past was closed on my only day off. The Voodoo is a good bike and on the whole I'm pleased. But! I like to let go of the handle bars and sit up with the wind in my face. When I do this the Voodoo doesn't feel 'true'. Balancing the bike become necessary as it pulls ever so slightly to the left.

Any way, yesterday I spent about an hour trying to figure out the problem. I found that Halford's hadn't centred the handle bars between the markers, and the rear derailleur cable running from the changer on the bars was crossing a disc brake cable, possibly pulling at the direction of the front wheel. I fixed both issues and made sure the quick release was seated well. There's no brake binding. The problem persists. Can anyone advise me.
When I lift the bike off the ground with my hand on the cross bar, the handle bar always fall to the left.

Why do you want to ride no-handed..the only people who do this intentionally are 11 year olds showing off to their mates or Tour de France stage winners.
I'm neither of these so don't bother
