I have a nice Nitto Technomic extra tall quill stem which is designed to take narrow diameter bars (25.8mm?, forgotten, you know what I mean). I want to fit some alloy drop handlebars which have the least possible drop and forward reach, 42mm wide would be best. Modern shape, ie with straight sections under the levers and indents for cables to go under the tape if poss, but can't ask for the impossible. Any recommendations?

25.4mm or 26.0mm? Nitto are probably do something (expensive). I had some of Soma Highway bars, but I think only SJS cycles stock them in the UK. I don't think they have cable guides either. In the end tho I went the full monty regarding low drop and reach and switched to On One Midges.

The stem is actually a Nitto Tallux 7 cm, with a clamp diameter of 26mm. I would be happy to hear about any bars that will fit it and have short reach and low drop. Thanks so far.
