handlebar vibration

Hi

I have a Scott speedster S60, carbon forks and flat bars. Is it normal for a lot of vibration on the road? I had it serviced before riding it, would tyre pressure play a part in this and do the tyres have to feel so solid? (my mountain bike always had fairly soft tyres).
