Hi,
E-pray, and FWIW 99p/£1 shops sell double sided sticky foam tape, which is ideal
to go under non sticky bar tape. Some people use bubblewrap under bar tape.

Yup, that will do ya.

Are you going to do the job yourself?
It's pretty easy once you have got the hang of it and quite satisfying.

There are plenty of You Tube instructional vids.
yes i want to do it myself, worth a try

PRO tape with silicon adhesion on the back, lasts 5000 plus miles and is reusable so if you muck up putting it on just start again.

For under handlebar tape, I use that foam used for wrapping the edges of glass tabletops. Or foam ribbon used in packing. I use leather for bar wrap, but I live in a University Town, and have students throwing leather couches away all the time.
